Michelin-starred Chef Atul Kochhar Visits Cambridge Cookery School
Tine Roche and Liz Young of Cambridge Cookery School welcomed the fantastic Atul Kochhar to Cambridge Cookery School on Thursday 24th January to host a one-off demo session for a group of lucky attendees.
Atul took time out from his busy schedule at his Michelin-starred restaurant Benares in Mayfair, London, to share fascinating stories of his childhood in India and his journey to become a celebrity chef and being awarded the coveted Michelin-star twice already in his career. Atul created spicy samosas and two fabulous curries during the session – which gave the audience a chance to try his highly-acclaimed food.
Atul generously donated all proceeds from the event to Great Ormond Street Hospital and headed back to London to prepare a feast along with other top chefs, including Cambridge’s own Daniel Clifford of Midsummer House for the Sir Bobby Moore Charity Dinner.
